Julie has worked at St. Johns Animal Clinic since she was a teenager, starting in 1985-this year marks 31 years! :)
She has done every possible job here other than Veterinarian. Her primary focus now is Office Manager, but she loves to be involved with the clients and their pets also! She is going on 2 wonderful years of marriage and has recently added a new little member of her family-Lou a Yorkshire terrier!
Julie enjoys going for walks with her husband and Lou, riding around her property on her Gator and relaxing with friends and family!
There is no other place she would rather work than at St Johns Animal Clinic!
Jennie has been working at St. Johns Animal Clinic as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (L.V.T) since 2001.
She has an Associate Degree in Accounting from LCC, and a Bachelor of Science with her Major in Veterinary Technology from Michigan State University.
She loves hunting, reading, and going to the movies.
She grew up in Ovid, Michigan but now has been living in Westphalia.
Her husband, Marty, is a computer guru. They have been married for 15 years. Our son, Jensen (or Bubba) is 9 years old now and has a mild obsession with cars (the movie and small toys), dinosaurs, and Toy Story. Our second son, Avery, was born in September of 2010.
She has a kitty named Mokey who is 10 years old. She is a nervous kitty so she hides during the day and patrols at night when the world is a little less scary to her.
Daisy is her crazy yellow lab who loves to wrestle with Jensen and is a pillow to Avery.
Jennie loves working here. There’s never anything too gross for her-she sees it in terms of mildly fascinating to very fascinating!
Samantha graduated from Central Michigan University in May 2012 with a Bachelors in Biology. She started working at St. Johns Animal Clinic as an Assistant in July 2012 but now primarily works as a Receptionist!
She grew up in DeWitt, MI and always owned multiple pets. She worked at an animal clinic in high school and really fell in love with the idea of helping and caring for animals. She has always wanted a career in the animal field and finds veterinary medicine the most interesting and rewarding.
Samantha currently has two dogs, Scout and Jack-who together are best buddies. She also has three cats, Scooter, Calvin, and Meesa-who definitely make every day entertaining.
She has been married now for 2 (going on 3) years and recently welcomed her 1st child on 2/2/16-Natalie, who brings so much joy every, single day!
She enjoys being a mommy most, but also walking/hiking, off-roading, relaxing at home, camping, and spending time with my family and friends.
Samantha loves working at SJAC and has learned so much so far. She loves being able to say, "I enjoy going to work!" The Clients and their pets make everyday so enjoyable!
Molly has always had a passion for animals. At a very young age, she knew she wanted to work at a veterinary clinic. Molly graduated from the Vet Tech Institute of Bradford Schools in 2012. Since then, Molly has worked at multiple veterinary clinics throughout Ohio, until moving back home to Michigan and finding her job at St. Johns Animal Clinic.
Molly currently has a loveable, energetic Greyhound-mix named "Navi", a Shar-Pei mix named "Stitch" and the infamous, ex-clinic cat "Carl" as her fur-buddies!
When she isn't working, Molly enjoys going on walks with her dogs, reading and cuddling with her cat.
She has been with the clinic for 1 year now and is a great addition to the team!
Prior to coming to work for SJAC, Kristen was in the USAF and traveled quite a bit before coming to Michigan to settle down with her husband and two children.
Kristen started to work for SJAC as a Veterinary Assistant back in 2003. She was with our clinic for 8 ½ years before leaving for another job opportunity. The SJAC staff graciously said their goodbyes in 2012 and wished her well on her grand adventures.
Her family has two cats Jerry-their older man, who enjoys his relaxed, well-fed lifestyle and Schnitzel-their new, sassy kitten who keeps them well entertained on a daily basis!
SJAC welcomed Kristen back with open arms and are very happy to have her apart of their family once again.
For now Kristen is settled and content with the SJAC family and looks forward to another great 8 years.
P.S. Kristen and her husband can't wait until their children graduate (in 10-12 years), so they can set off again on their next adventure.
Olivia started working at St. Johns Animal Clinic in October 2012. She is currently attending Lansing Community College as a biology major and will eventually move on to Michigan State for Veterinary Technology.
Olivia grew up in St. Johns with her parents, two sisters, and brother. Living out in the country, she has seen many pets come and go. She adores her animals so much, and decided to pursue a career dedicated to them.
In addition to the clinic, she also works at PetSmart in Okemos (where she gets to play with newly adopted puppies on a daily basis!). When she's not busy working or studying, she enjoys camping, vacations with family and friends, spoiling her dog, binge-watching Netflix, and every spring/summer, since 2011, she breeds her golden retriever and raises her playful, fluffy pups.
Her family is always accumulating new pets, right now we share the house with my super shy Golden Retriever, Lilly, a high-energy German Shepherd mix, Sachi, my rat, Missy, my big, stubborn goat, Maggie, my brother’s gecko, Rico, our two cats, Snickers and Halo, and a couple of small fish tanks.
Olivia has learned so much from everyone in such a short amount of time. She loves her job and all the people and animals she gets the pleasure of working with!
Katrina recently moved back to Michigan from Flagstaff, AZ. She has over 5 years experience working as a veterinary technician.
She graduated from Arizona School of Integrative Studies and has been a licensed massage therapist since 2012; currently practices in St. Johns, MI.
She has 2 dogs, Bella and Leo and enjoys reading, dancing, yoga, traveling, walking/hiking.
Jessica enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and finds learning something new every day especially rewarding. She enjoys learning the role a pet has in an owner’s life and helping to strengthen the human-animal bond!
She has a small terrier mix dog named Annie and a cat, Callie (who do not enjoy each other’s company).
She enjoys almost anything outdoors, especially playing softball and kayaking, spending time with friends, family and pets.
