Julie has worked at St. Johns Animal Clinic since she was a teenager, starting in 1985.

She has done every possible job here other than Veterinarian.  Her primary focus now is Office Manager, but she loves to still be involved with the clients and their pets.

  • Jennie, LVT

I have been working at St. Johns Animal Clinic as a Licensed Veterinary Technician (L.V.T) since 2001.

I have an Associate Degree in Accounting from LCC, and a Bachelor of Science with my Major in Veterinary Technology from Michigan State University.
I love hunting, reading, and going to the movies.  I grew up in Ovid, Michigan and have been living in Westphalia for the last 4 years.

My husband, Marty, is a computer guru.  We have been married for 14 years.  Our son, Jensen (or Bubba) is 7 years old now and has a mild obsession with cars (the movie and small toys), dinosaurs, and Toy Story.  Our second son, Avery, was born in September of 2010.

Stripes or Fat Cat is a 9 year old domestic short-hair.  Her favorite activities include staring.

Mokey is also 9 years old.  She is a nervous kitty so she hides during the day and patrols at night when the world is a little less scary to her.

Daisy is our crazy yellow lab who loves to wrestle with Jensen and is a pillow to Avery.

I have recently been introduced to the Wii fit (an awesome workout!) and love it.

I love working here.  There’s never anything too gross for me-I see it in terms of mildly fascinating to very fascinating.

  • Andrea, LVT

I graduated from Michigan State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science.

I have been working at St. Johns Animal Clinic since 2006.

I grew up in the Detroit area and Sao Paulo, Brazil, and hope to continue growing up all over the world.

My cat, Katza Kitty, is my grey 14 year old domestic-medium haired cat.  Katze is German for cat so her name translates to Cat Kitty.  I love her.

I love to read and scrapbook and also enjoy being active.  If I could get to a yoga class every day I would be in Heaven.

My passion for traveling has taken me to South Africa, Mexico, England, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Slovenia, Nicaragua and back to Brazil.

    Favorite overseas activities:
White water rafting, sea kayaking, and rock climbing in Thailand
Cage diving with Great Whites in South Africa
Climbing Mt. Kinabalu (13,435 ft) in Borneo

  • Samantha, Assistant

I graduated from Central Michigan University in May 2012 where I got a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I started working at St. Johns Animal Clinic as an Assistant in July 2012 and I'm really enjoying the job.

I grew up in DeWitt, MI and always had pets. I worked at an animal clinic in high school and really fell in love with the idea of helping and caring for animals, and have always wanted a career in the animal field. I currently have two dogs, Scout- who is a Labrador/Shepherd mix and Jack-a rough coat Collie. I also have two cats, Scooter- my loveable orange kitty and Henry- who's always into something.

I enjoy hiking, off-roading, snorkeling, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.

I love working at SJAC and have learned so much so far. I love being able to say, I enjoy going to work!
